*snicker* You know, as soon as I heard the name of this storm, I thought of that particular turn of phrase... and two seconds later thought, "Oh, crap. I'm going to be tired of hearing that joke, and soon, aren't I?"

CNN had a segment on blogger reaction to the storm. Not much of a reaction; about all they could find was a blog from two reporters from the Gulfport newspaper claiming to be blogging without the benefit of electricity, internet connectivity or phone lines.
My wife and I were very impressed with that feat, particularly since neither had left the newsroom and were blogging on the reactions of their fellow reporters.
The blog is dead.
